Living Icons welcomes all who desire help in developing an integrated life practice that is built on developing the ability to allow the flowing of grace in and through our lives and ultimately out into the world. Living Icons Integrated Life Practice is born from a practice within the Eastern Orthodox Christian tradition and we serve all people regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity, faith, religion/no religion, national origin, language, education, marital status, body size, political affiliation/philosophy, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression or variance, physical and mental ability, social-economic status, genetic information and HIV and veteran status.
Founders David and Stepheny Antrobus bring a wealth of life experience, education and training. Stepheny’s formal education includes a BA in Contemplative Psychology and an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Transpersonal Art therapy. She is has been trained in Eating Psychology, Functional and Biochemical/Nutrition, heart-centered hypnosis, and many other approaches to physical and mental wellbeing. David has his BS in Exercise Science with a minor in wellness coaching.
They are both Navy veterans with intimate knowledge of the sacrifices our vets and their families make, as well as the wounds they acquire along the way. She is passionate about integrated approaches to healing that center around the heart, body nutrition, the brain, and mind. Continually incorporating evidence-based practices to support each client’s unique healing and growing edge.
After her time in the U.S. Navy, and before embarking on her university studies, she mentored women in small business while running various small business herself. As she listened and supported others in their lives and business, she continued to develop and walk in her calling to support others. Her life experience and training has created an Integrated, Heart-Centered, Developmental Counselor and Educator.
She has worked in the Art Therapy program at National Jewish Hospital with children and their families in both group and individual settings. For more information about what Art Therapy is and who benefits from it, check out the American Art Therapy Association

She has also worked closely with elders, hospice, working with terminally ill patients and their families. She is part of the green burial movement and supports ancient Christian burial practices.
Her integral lens led her to add eating psychology, Functional and Biochemical Nutritional Approaches to healing. Eating psychology incorporates Mind Body Nutrition, which is the psychophysiology of how our chemical balance/imbalances as well as our thoughts, feelings, beliefs, levels of stress and relaxation, our personal story and more, all profoundly impact our lives. BioChemical approaches recognize the brain chemistry is a co-foundational factor in mental health.
